Is today a holiday and no one told me?

There were virtually *no* cars out there today. Driving down 880 was like 70 mph *all the way*. That's like unheard of. There was no traffic at all. And while there were cars here in the parking lot and stuff, a lot of the prime spots hadn't all be taken up yet. Did like half the south bay just take the day off or something? Is today some holiday I'm not aware of? I'm getting kinda paranoid here...

YvtW: List of Realms

(Warning: YvtW related entry ahead. Non-CBR/YvtW participants will be hopelessly lost.)

I jotted this down in a brainstorming session (translation: I was bored) some time ago, and then I kept sporadically losing and finding the piece of paper. I figure I better record it down somewhere reliable before I "accidentally" lost it permanently. :p

Anyways, just a list of afterlife realms that I'm familiar with/came up with at the moment. I'll probably add to the list as more possiblities come to mind. Most of them are probably not going to get too much onscreen exploration though. The thought of dragging it on and on with the threat of writers block that can attack me at any time is rather daunting. Probably a few quotes or excerpts to show that we went there; maybe a few mentions or flashbacks that show we went through/spent time there...

Anecdote

First of all, lemme note that I added something I forgot to the entry about today's lunch (it's under friends-lock, so the rest of ya can just pretend you didn't see this :p). Advice would be appreciated there.

Anyways, I heard something rather funny/interesting on Wed. night from my dad. He was talking to my uncle about the stuff he heard while he was in China.
