Hahaha, latest in the Nikki dressup franchise: Infinity Nikki. They've got a 3D dressup app with Shining Nikki with all the pretty art assets. Why not add the the rest of the world and copy pasta the game mechanics from Zelda: Breath of the Wild? LOL

Seems to be in pre-registration stage still, and for Playstation.

(Not planning to play this, because it's so obviously a huge money sink.)

EDIT: Found more info... looks like there is also PC and mobile versions in the works. Not sure about the release date, but it looks like closed beta is already out.

Apparently the video recorder will capture mouse movements from outside Bluestacks app, so gotta be careful what you do with the mouse once you start recording.

For the audio, apparently the recorder function will directly record anything that's coming out the computer audio, and not the app audio. So if I have an audio app playing on browser or an app outside of bluestacks, and bluestacks itself muted, it will record that audio.

And yes, I did splurge $100 to buy this dress (plus other pieces in the outfit not shown here, and lots of gems currency). Like I said... it says something that I probably spend more on my 2D dressup games in a month than I spend on Guild Wars 2 in the average year.

Shining Nikki, the 3D game of the Nikki series is released in the US. I've been seeing a lot of ads for it lately. However, looking at my spending and time investment on my existing dressup games, I'm gonna pass on it.

I'll stick with Time Princess for my 3D dressup needs. Speaking of which...

Obligatory LN image plug. :p

First one is a styling I put together from various parts. The second is a free outfit that was just given out today, though I did change the hair and added the scarf/background items.

My symptoms seem to be tapering off, so yay. Still keeping up the meds, just in case though.

I haven't forgotten Love Nikki. It's pretty pretty pixels been a balm these days. Here's some of my favorite stylings lately.

So the Love Nikki event for Garden of Spiral Staircase is starting tomorrow.

I am definitely planning to get at least two of the major suits, with Night Banquet being a certainty. For the other one, I'm being torn between World in a Game for its foreground piece, or Fleeting Dream for the butterfly fairies. I mean, the giant weqi board is awesome, though I do have a less awesome weiqi-themed suit. The butterfly fairies are pretteh, but I also have other butterfly themed pieces. Uhn...

Also, want to double check, but for the minor set Moon in Mist, both versions are based on wintersweet flowers, right?

Then again, looking further at suit breakdowns, Night Banquet seems to have some clipping issues. So maybe I should instead drop that and get the other two?

EDIT: Alternatively... since it looks like you can buy individual pieces out of the suits instead of being forced to unlock an entire suit at a time, I could pick and choose the individual pieces out of all four sets. I do lose out on the posed versions and backgrounds though. Hrm.

(Just another excuse to share my dressup pics. =P)

First one is a pilgrim cosplay (though it didn't do well in competition; I guess internationally, people don't know much about Thanksgiving other than the season and food...) Second one was something of a gag based on some freebie parts (but it's doing much better in competition -_-)

Still having fun with Love Nikki.

Some Halloween costumes:

It actually goes pretty well with a monochrome color scheme. Possibly better than the original combo with the Sword Girl robe.

Also, adorewibble bunny cosplay. Really like how this styling came out.

Two of the recent event suits. The robo-kitty is adorable! The men's style wuxia outfit is cool too.

Ignore the hole in my wallet getting these. Though actually, I suppose the spending is for other stuff, and the side effect is the gems I received for the other stuff was then put into getting these. >.>

Just realized both are green colored suits. There seems to be an abundance of red, pink, blue, green colored suits. Not a lot of purple ones compared to blue or black. I think I only have like...3 purplish dresses, and that's including the 2 orchid sets.

Got the most important parts done, which is the part with the gourd. Still working on the hat, slowly, since it's not as high priority as my other pending sets. I can now cosplay wuxia in this game! XD

OK! So I finished the Ink Orchid set required to move past Chapter 7 (and am now stopped at the suit for Chapter 8 XD). Though, I think I like the dress from Orchid's Chant better aesthetically speaking. And of course, they look even better mix-matched. ^_^

Hair/Dress from Orchid's Chant, Fan/Shoes from Ink Orchid (not that you can see the shoes). The rest of the decoration are separate from the suits.

More cosplay outfits on the Dawn Skyfire facebook account.

Items I'm currently working on...
Northern Soldier shirt/pants in order to unlock Vol.1 Chapter 7 side quest stage 3
Light Fairy suit to unlock Chapter 9
Convallaria Bud coat/dress to unlock Volum 2 Stage 1-2
Fluffy Lop suit to progress in the Dreamland:Yvette special questline
Sword Girl suit
Spring Camellia dress and coat
Polychrome dress

Been feeling nostalgic for Gaia Online and its avatar making fun. Of course, Gaia is now... eh... not exactly dead but let's just say it's not as it once was. Also, its avatars are too small for my tastes nowadays.

So I found out about a fashion game that originated in China for anime style fashion dress up. In the US, it's called Love Nikki. I used an alternate facebook account that I had around just for gaming purposes. The linking makes it easy to post image snapshots from the game.

The only flaw I can think of is the lack of sort and search options (for shops especially). As my virtual wardrobe fills up, it takes longer and longer to scroll through my dresses, shoes, etc. And I'm "only" on 665/13939 non-hair items. XD
