On the road to getting a new computer...

tanithryudoI'm getting my new computer in pieces though... as in everything separately bought and then assembled. So not all the stuff on my wish list is acquired yet, though all the basic stuff is there - motherboard, cpu, harddrive, casing, video card... we managed to get the old CD-RW working again, though I'd really like to have a new DVD-R.
The worst thing, though, is that now I have to reinstall all my programs. Again. Don't ask me when I'll have everything back up again.

cashew, if you're reading this, could you do me a *teensy eensy* favor while you're in China and see if you can pickup a few CD's worth of CSTAR from the street CD vendors? They ought to be a dime a dozen everywhere... I need a version that 1) can be read on an English OS, and 2) works for Windows 2000. The only versions I have right now are either XP versions or Win98 versions only. Thanks!
