This booster shot doesn't like me

Went to CVS and got a COVID booster shot yesterday morning. The muscles on my arm where the shot was done is still hurting. T_T

Also, started getting an itchy/sore throat last evening. Made sleeping difficult through the night. Double T_T

Did a home test this morning to confirm that I'm still negative for COVID. So it looks like I just have some side effects from the vaccine shot. *sigh*

Muscle pain went away by Sat, sore throat finally gone by Sun night, which further makes all this feel like a vaccine side effect.

I still have some nasal congestion though, and this actually feels like I have a slight cold. I guess the weather has been cool and rainy lately...

Spoke too soon. Mom tested herself this morning and got a positive. So I tested again and also got positive. Ugh.

Feels like getting the vaccine was pointless? At least the sore arm part over the weekend.

Um...vaccines take at least 3 weeks before it up-regulates the immune system. ━━(￣ー￣*|||━━

Hopefully the second time is less intense than the first. Drink water and hold out, good luck!

Taking the Paxlovid medication currently and suffering from the bitter mouth side effect. T_T
