Playing the new Star Rail update

It's the new year and they've finally launched the 2.0 major story update. I have started playing the main storyline and haven't reached the end yet. But given the theme so far and spoilers I've read online, it's gonna be all drama and horror for the player character.

Notably, one of our fellow Trailblazers didn't join us on the trip to Penacony. I previously figured the reason Dan Heng was chosen by the writers to be absent was because he had a major development in the last world/arc, so it's time for other characters to get more limelight.

But then we got this:

Hahaha. So in other words, while our player character is off getting all traumatized on Penacony, Dan Heng snuck off back to the Xianzhou Luofu to celebrate the Spring Festival.

Also explains why the story kept saying that Penacony had invited all of the major interstellar factions, but nowhere among the guests did I see anybody from the Xianzhou. I guess the Penacony Charmony Festival had a time conflict with the Xianzhou's Spring Festival, and all of the Xianzhou natives picked the local holiday. =P

Anyway, I do ship the Jing Yuan x Dan Heng pair! And wow, does this hit all the buttons!

Please note!! The performance being acted out in the video is about the fight against Phantaylia (the main boss of the previous story arc). There were a lot more people involved in the fight; notably, our player character was there also. But does the performance mention them? Nope. Only the dragon and the lion matters. 明朝同坐酒盈樽！*winkwink*

Dang Heng = Dragon (duh)
Jing Yuan = Lion



Can't wait for the upcoming rerun for Jing Yuan character banner. I am saving up all of my tokens in prep!

EDIT: Ohohohoho! You gotta hand it to the fans. Imma gonna go have a look at the location later on in game today.

Second, is Bluestacks working better now? Or still the same problems?

They tripped up and had to be saved. The water spout is Dan Heng's power as Imbibitor Lunae in play.

I am directly playing Star Rail on PC and not using Bluestacks or mobile at all.

How is Star Rail on PC? Is it any better/worse? I seem to recall you didn't want to play it on PC for one reason or another...something about the sound?

I play it on PC because Bluestacks keeps crashing on me it's not conducive to play. And playing on mobile is too small screen. No problems with the PC version so far.

Suddenly struck by another question: since you're linking Lofter, are you using Lofter? Or just browsing it?

I browse it for fanart and fanfic. I don't post to it or anything.

Ah, I see. Have you stopped updating on Weibo? Or have you just not been advancing recently?

Haven't had much worth reporting on the account lately. The latest few banners have all been meh. Have been saving up for the upcoming Jing Yuan banner.
