No, I just find it amusing that you're now being sucked into the Pokemon fandom when you haven't even played the games. XD

*shrug* I've watched the anime. The original Kanto series when I was in...high school?...ish? Then bits and pieces of the Hoenn and Sinnoh series a few years ago.

I'm gonna make a big leap here and guess that almost everyone born post-1980 and pre-2000 have experienced Pokemon the Anime. Doesn't make all of us go searching for Poke-fic. XD

I guess I never saw much ficcing potential in the series. I had more fun actually raising pokemon in the game than I did writing fic for it. (Shamefully, yes, I did start writing something before I got bored and moved on. To be fair, it was a vehicle for making fun of Mary-Sue fic, and not really an honest attempt at ficcing. Make of it what you will. :p)
