I was updating my laptop that's still running Win XP (which I do like twice a year cuz that's how often I turn it on...mainly for trips). It tells me that XP is end of support, and more importantly, Microsoft Security Essentials doesn't support it anymore.

So that means I'm going to have to replace it yet again with another security software. (When I first got the laptop, I used to use the Symantec antivirus provided by Cal. Eventually that just wouldn't update correctly anymore.)

While I was skimming online for more details about WinXP being EOS, I also came across a mention that said Chrome & Firefox are committed to supporting it for an extra year since Aug 2014, but no further details after that. So what happens if it doesn't support the browsers anymore? What am I going to use it for? o_O

*sigh*
