Kindle Fire...

...is looking really hot for this Holiday season. Since I'm totally not into Apple, the only competition I've seen is the B&N Nook tablet. And the only thing that's got going for it is the storage, I think.

Or, I can wait another year for the technology to get better. I dunno. We'll see.

My issue with Kindle is that it's supporting proprietary e-book publishing. While I know this doesn't matter to you, I'm kinda pissed off at any DRM electronic media. If I pay for the e-media, then I damn well should be able to give that e-media to my friends without worrying about software compatibility.
