To upgrade or not to upgrade?
Nov. 28th, 2010 04:17 pmSo my cellphone is up for the two year free upgrade. I went by the AT&T store today to look at my options. A lot of the phones are now smart phones (iphone style or PDA). The problem is that those all come with an enforced monthly data plan, which means an additional $15-20 charge over my current monthly phone bill.
On the one hand, I'll have internet available anywhere, along with direct access to facebook, etc.
On the other hand, I'm not really often far away from an internet capable computer (especially away long enough to justify $15/month).
On the third (imaginary) hand, I'll be stuck with the new phone for the next two years.
Grar...
