Date: 2009-09-20 04:27 am (UTC)I have to say, the ASUS (ass-us?) is pretty temping, what with huge battery life, pretty damn high processing speed and stuff for a mere $589.99. The bluetooth isn't as attractive, due to my already having a bluetooth adaptor/antennae. On the other hand, ASUS has a weird resolution (o.O) and Toshiba has a bigger HD, but the processor is minorly less powerful.
On the other, other hand (tentacle?) the HP Pavillion has AMD processor.
I don't know which one I should be getting. *bawl*

Date: 2009-09-20 11:38 am (UTC)Asus is definitely a tempting choice... the weird resolution seems to come from the fact that it's a 14" and not a 14.1" screen. It might make wallpapers and graphics awkward - I think you should see if there are any demo units in the store so you can look to see if the screen/graphics are acceptable, before making a choice.
If the Asus doesn't work out, then I would go for the second or third one on the list.
