Assassin armor is the only armor in which the gloves have no bonus. The casters have a +energy bonus, warriors, paragons and rangers +armor, and dervishes +health. Assassins get nothing. Bleh.
(BTW: yes, I think it would look okay, depending on how you're dying the armor. Personally, I think blue or black.)
That is true... maybe a +5e bonus would be nice for deadly arts. Or maybe nerf dervish armor, comparatively...

Still, it doesn't feel right to be buying elite armor for my less played sin/para before I buy for the ele/ranger... but for ele/ranger I can't make up my mind... T_T

+5e would be nice, yes. Especially since there's so many assacastas. But the point is, assassins got gipped and Anet should fix it. At least, I refuse to dump anymore money into that stupid game until I feel my main profession has been given some love.
I seriously do not understand why you're buying lesser played characters elite armor. Even less so for paragon, whose armors all look exactly the same. :p
And see, this is why you need the heavy equipment bag. To keep all your undecidable elite armors in. XD
Well, if I'm buying it for your bday, it's technically not your dumping any money into the game, yes?
I'm note buying anyone elite armor yet. I'm just going over all my options for the nth time. And it's easier to decide for the classes that don't have nice armor except for like one option, than the classes which has more than one nice armors to pick from.
And I don't want to buy more than 1 set of elite armor. Not because of storage, but cuz I'm cheap and lazy. So nope, nothing to do with the EQ bags. :P
