Finance Woes

This is the result of no one buying American. Meanwhile, Toyota and Honda have been sitting pretty with all the Prii, Camrys, and Civics I see all over the streets.

And of course last week, Washington Mutual got bailed out by JP Morgan at the last second. Which means my bank accounts are now Chase accounts and I'll probably be getting new ATM/credit cards. Good thing I never kept too much money in the account.

*sigh* I know we're in the middle of a depression and crisis in the Finance market. But why does it feel more and more like I'm living in a third world country? >.>

And this is why I need to keep a closer eye on my accounts. We (as in my parents) have so much money with WaMu. This is gonna...well, at least we're not losing it.

But, on the bright side, now there are Chase banks in California, which means I don't need to keep opening bank accounts just so I can get around the nation. W00t!
