Food for thought
Jun. 20th, 2008 12:11 pmEDIT to add: Just tested the below. Unfortunately +HP/+e bonuses and morale boosts don't work in polymock. *cry*
(Mmmm... food.)
In polymock (Guild Wars minigame), the white pieces give you 3000HP/30e, the purple pieces gives you 4000HP/35e, and gold pieces give 5000HP/40e.
So to give yourself an edge or even to try and equalize things, the wiki mentioned pumpkin pie in passing. But then, why not stack the other consumables too?
Ok, the craftable ones from EOTN are too expensive to be wasted on polymock (since most likely you'd need to use 2-3 per game). But there are others carried over from various festivals and so forth that might be useful no? So, listing in backwards order of usefulness...
golden egg/candy corn - Not so useful since you're not using any stats that can be raised.
drake kabob - +5AL; not sure if this works, but if it does it's certainly useful.
pahnai salad - +20 HP. Any little bit helps, even if it's a drop in the bucket.
skalefin soup - +1 HP regen. Definitely useful if it works since there is no health regen in the minigame.
candy apple - +100 HP and +10 e; useful even if just for the energy boost
bday cake - +100HP, +10e, 25% movement speed. Nice, too bad I don't have much of them.
pumpkin pie - +25% IAS, -25% activation time, helps from getting interrupted and getting attacks in faster. Good for those of us who play by mashing all 8 skill buttons at once. >.>
honeycomb / pumpkin cookie - Morale boosts. Going to take a lot of farming (for honeycomb), but a+15% +10% morale boost, if it works, gives you 3450/4600/5750HP 3300/4400/5500HP!!
Though, I have to wonder how well the +HP stuff and the morale boosts stuff stack with the high HP base though. Wiki is so unclear.
Off to get lunch now.
