Well I asked my co-workers in Australia but no luck. However I did come across a subtitled version on youtube...

Date: 2008-05-29 09:48 am (UTC)Oh, I also remembered that I saw the series here (in America) around ~'93ish. It was an old program called "Inside China" and they would do an hour on introducing an aspect of Chinese culture then show an hour of the TV series. I've watched about 3 different series via that show (Journey to the West, Di Renjie, Bao Qingtian). Not sure if they have DVDs, but that's another possibility.
