I can farm Darkroot and Scareater in HM w/ the E/A SF build, so if I ever need Sin or Monk elite tomes I guess I have recourse. Also can farm a Paragon with a normal earth build. Of course, this assumes I can work up enough persistence to keep farming for the tomes. =_=
Actually, after some thought, I realized that it's probably better if I used earth/fire staffs for farming using perma-shadow builds. I'm usually body blocked enough that I need a ranged weapon to hit things to get them back to attack me. ^^; So now I'm going to search for insightful staff heads, +5e inscriptions, and staff wrappings of enchant. This will be a long and painful process.
Oh, also can't farm dervs in Vajara Falls because they have a PBAoE enchant. Garh.
Water staff is okay for raptor farming. But for areas outside of Asuran land, I'll need more +energy. Earth staff is ideal for sliver armor builds, and fire staff for rodgort's+flaming gaze builds.
