《封神演义》 发花痴-ing (pt. 1)

tanithryudoBecause I am totally heads-over-heels for the Yang Jian (杨戬) of this show and thus must share my screencaps (and probably not-so-witty commentary). Do note that he doesn't show up until halfway through the show and it's only that half I'm posting.
First appearance. Wai!
In canon, it was to defeat 魔家四将...
...here, to do that and also deliver famine relief
It's a commercial for the endless rice...bucket...container...thing.
Coming back after supposedly being "eaten" by 魔礼寿's 花狐貂
Helping plan how to off the 魔 brothers the next day...
Unfortunately some of them got away. 杨戬 begins the tradition of inter-clan molestation. XD
The enemy's next strategy is to kidnap their king for hostage. The think-tank gathers to plot...
杨戬 proposes they give in to the terrorist threat
Reports from the front line that the enemy is demanding unconditional surrender
"Okay."
"Of course I'll be the one doing the surrendering in our good general's form..er..name"
Facing down the enemy army after transforming back
Next up: first of the battle formation (阵) woes
They're sitting awfully close there...
That would be 木吒 leaning over there like a flirty secretary
Waiting for fearless leader to show up the next morning
Word is that the fearless leader is calling in sick today
He's not dead yet!
He's just...not all there
南极仙翁 to the rescue! (And is it me or does 金吒 over there look like a D&D RPG barbarian?)
Fearless leader has regained all his marbles
w00t, so we can go fight now?
Unfortunately I couldn't get a good cap of 杨戬 attempting the Icy Cold part of the formation, and turning into a polar bear to get through it. So let's just go with this. =_=
"I'll protect you!"
"That would be more effective if I weren't the only one immune to the soul-sucking bell in the middle of the formation. Y'know, what with being made of lotus and all."
Everybody wants a piece of him. ZOMG non-con! And does it count as necrophilia or something else if his spirit is AWOL? XD
Um... 哪吒, what are you doing with that hand?
Well obviously the protagonists have to win. So let's skip to the next formation woes.
Hm... the scouting party got turned into stone in there... this doesn't bode well.
Well, there's not much we can do but try and again and hope enough people getting trapped in there will force the plot gods to bring out the big plot devices.
Isn't that what we always do?
This formation is brutally straightforward...
Unfortunately, being male, we're stuck, aren't we?
He's peeking with his third eye! :p
Y'know I don't remember daoism really forbidding/looking down on sex 'n stuff...
The rest of the 闻太师 arc is not very interesting so I'm skipping it...
OK that's probably enough for one post if I don't wanna kill people's bandwidth or something... Will continue in future posts.
