  This healing spell creates a surge in the caster's heart that
allows the different parts of the person's body to work quickly
and bind their wounds. While this may sound complex, the spell
works very quickly and is especially useful in battle.

  By drawing the essence of the Shadow Plane into our reality, a Shade
creates a zone of pure darkness in the immediate vicinity. This field 
of shadows is so alien to normal creatures that it inflicts damage
upon them should they come into contact with it. Naturally, the beings
thus harmed promptly retaliate by attacking the shade. While this
spell is in effect, the shade may not flee from combat.

  This spell is toggleable, by casting it a second time the field of
shadows dissipates.

  Blink is an amazing ability of Shades to often disappear from one
spot, then reappear in another, usually at a place where the enemy
isn't looking. This causes the enemy to be momentarily disoriented 
and possibly stunned.

around an enemy, a shade may inflict considerable damage. The
spell's power is boosted if it is employed at night.

impervious to the locate object spell.

hometown. This door may be used only by the shadow dweller to escape
from combat.

creature that becomes entangled in this Shadow Web suffers minor
concussive damage and is immediately drawn towards the shadow dweller.
It is also effectively stunned for a few moments while darkness binds
its limbs.

Shade. Like lesser Shadow Attacks, the bolt is a mass of the Shadow 
Plane's essence that is hurled at a single enemy. At midnight, as
its name suggests, the damage that the power delivers is doubled.

there has to be light in order for the shadow to exist; this forces
the Shades to operate in daytime, which they detest.

  This rather dangerous power, as its name suggests, creates a small
singularity in the immediate vicinity of the Shade. The effect of it
on the neighboring creatures is quite harmful; some of them are
instantly absorbed into the black hole, never to be seen again. Given
the brutality with which Black Hole rips apart the fabric of reality,
this spell will eventually destroy the world... ah well. This spell
is an area affect spell.
