I've never heard of the work he's bashing, but I was kind of interested in the various rules "governing literary art in domain of romantic fiction" Twain lists. A lot of them are common sense. I don't agree with a few (not sure how #3 does in the vampire/undead/supernatural genre for instance). And it'd be interesting to see how many of my fics actually meet all the rules and which fics didn't meet which rules...

OK, I have no problems with the cover or inception of the idea. Goodness knows that kind of fanservice would sell to the horny boys demographic which comics are in general popular with anyway.

I don't have a problem that they're being inspired by the La Blue Girl genre - though I am surprised these people know they exist. I maybe do roll my eyes at the fact the editor people think that La Blue Girl is representative of the sum of popular anime culture, but hey, it's not like the guys in charge of comics are generally any better than their fanboys, so whatever.

I do have a problem with the fact they're rating the thing "'T', for ages 9 and up".

Because pre-pubescent boys and girls are going to get off on bondaged up girls getting molested by dripping tentacles as opposed to be still thinking the opposite sex has cooties. *headdesk*

Also, the art style doesn't really look manga-ish to me...
