Sui-Tang Heroes - Manga version
Jan. 23rd, 2006 08:07 pmSo I was looking around sites for anime pictures today and I stumbled across this scanlation of the classic kung-fu/historic drama of Sui-Tang Heroes Saga. Apparently, it's by a Chinese author (or at least the name is more Chinese than Japanese), though the art style is definitely based on Japanese manga.
That said, from what I read, I think I like this version better than most of the Chinese versions of Sui-Tang Heroes Saga. For one thing, Li Shimin is the main character here rather than Qin Shubao, who was the lead role in the original novel and thus the later TV adaptations. And of course, I have a lot of interest in Li Shimin, so of course I like seeing more stories of him, even under manga-fied "artistic license".
Hm...I should put up the final paper I did on Li Shimin for my history term paper last semester (yes the one that I started at like 1 in the morning the day it's due and still got an A on)...
