tanithryudoDunno if I've mentioned this before, but the MUD is moving to chaosmud.genesismuds.com 1357 on 5/15. Right now the new site is open with pfiles from a couple months back so you can go check it out.
Reading the announcements on the new MUD, it looks like they're going to fix some of the tanking classes after all the complaints about necros. I haven't seen anything for knights yet, but shapechangers got a rescue-equivalent skill, nightblades got a blind spell, and pugs got some AC upgrades to their skills/spells.

-weremammoth now also adds the health spell
-somatic awakening boosts the psi psychic healing
spell for shapechangers
-blight is now working properly
-rhino horn now is an ac spell and doesn't
create an item
-beholder form has replaced manticore, special
attack is called mystify
-shift now assumes forms in a fight (like metamorphosis did)
-metamorphosis has been replaced with coil
(turns attacker on shg and gives a tiny stun)
-retain speech gives the gibberish message less often now
(60% attempts to cast the spell instead of previous 45%)

Here's the latest changes:
Nightblade
Most of the ac spells were buffed substantially.
Farsight is no longer a skill.
Cauldron of shadows is a blind/heal spell.
Pugilist
AC improved on the later spells/skills to
better match ac of people with more eq slots.
Mantis style no longer color bleeds.
