So the last episode is out...
Mar. 30th, 2005 11:26 amJust read the summary at the tenipuri community. (Three caps there too.)
The Good:
* Two parter episode. Anything to make it last longer.
* Nekkid Keigo-sama in the shower (Yay! Manga!)
* Hyotei makes it to the nationals (Yay! Manga!)
The Bad:
* Tezuka lost to Ryoma. Before the Nationals. Grr. (Fan-wank: mebbe he was still holding back on doctor's orders?)
* Echizen left Karupin the US for his little duel with Tezuka (Though, if Karupin is one of his one-true-loves and he chose Tezuka over Karupin... uh...)
The... Wha?:
* So apparently Echizen manages to get a plane in on like a couple hours of notice, fly back to Japan to play Tezuka, and then get a plane back to America to finish his matches at the US Open? Without missing any matches in the US that'd disqualify him? Dar?
* Echizen uses the rest of the Regulars' techniques in his match against Tezuka. Um... why? It's not like any of them are better than Tezuka. I could understand if he's copying Sanada or Atobe, but the other Seigaku Regulars? *shrug* Oh well.
Also, apparently Echizen is inspired to do all this after hearing the TezuFuji match. So I guess he's the jealous one? And Tezuka smiles afterwards, bringing his smile count (and the # of people who make him smile) up to... three? Man, Fuji's gotta be pissed. Ditto Atobe if he ever finds out about it. Though it also makes me wonder if the animators aren't also pushing for TezuRyo on top of the TezuFuji and MomoRyo. Hrm.
