The speed of the Scud Serve is at least 200 km/hr.
The speed of Kajimoto's serve is 195 km/hr.
The speed of sound is actually about 345 m/sec, which is 1242 km/hr.
So in Psidai continuity, by the time of the nationals in his second year in high school, Ohtori has upped his serve speed by over 1000 km/hr?
Wow. That is some powerup.
However, I'm thinking that for *that* kind of speed, you gotta have to sacrifice some power for it.
(Also, I no longer feel any guilt in letting Kaidoh keep his Hadoukyuu Boomerang. After all, there's not nearly as much room for him to visibly improve in the stamina area, so that just leaves strength, which is after all another consequence of his rigorous workout routine.)
