Acheron is a meta DPS (along with Firefly having the highest rate of player pulls for recent DPS), so in that respect, people who want the best support for Acheron pulling for Jiaoqiu is pursuing the meta...
And then there's the people who buy E6 for all characters anyway (mostly to show off how rich they are I guess?), but it doesn't matter if the character is meta in that case.
