Re Huaiyan - we don't know for sure yet, but I think he's going to be representative of a new faction/subspecies of the Luofu. It's mentioned in the Forge ornament set as Disatta and in the CN version as 梨菩. Seems to be some kind of space gnome/dwarf equivalent.
Another speculation I've seen thrown around is that he is bypassing the mara problem using his access to the Flint Emperor, as heliobus as a species specialize in messing with emotions.
Of course, that's all speculation. We'll have to wait for the actual patch to be sure.
