Sooo... hand sanitizers are sold out everywhere around here in stores. Looked around on Amazon and of the ones still in stock, they're not gonna ship til April if you order now.
ROFL, is this the covid-19 panic? Don't freak out. Wash hand with soap and water is just as effective. Also, avoid public spaces when possible, keep about 3 feet of distance between you and anyone else, don't touch your face with your hands if there's an itch before washing your hand first.
From what I've gathered, covid-19 is more or less like the flu and the majority (up to 69%) who catch it experience only mild symptoms like a sore throat.
My company just today announced everyone is going to mandatory work from home for the next two weeks. Ugh. I dislike working from home b/c the internet is so much slower, and sometimes wonky, making transferring large files a huge pain.
Well, that's kinda what happens in a quarantine. *pets* Good luck with the internet. AT&T restricts upload speed...so yeah, dunno what you can do. ( ╯□╰ )
We actually got comcast installed on Wed. Much faster than AT&T since it comes in through the cable (as in cable TV line) instead of the phone line, which provides higher bandwidth.
Like, by a lot. Speed tests for wireless connection to our home AT&T Uverse router only gets like .2 Mbps download, whereas the wireless to the Xfinity router was like 17 Mbps. With ethernet connection, I'm actually getting like 350 Mbps.
Cable is definitely better than AT&T. Our optics fiber can go as high as 1Gbps. 😁 It's not as obvious during download (we had Comcast prior), but during uploads, it's really obvious.
