That time you try to figure out the math in Chinese fiction and realize that CN authors just as bad as western sci-fi/fantasy...

Like, in a world where lifespans go from normal human lifespan all the way to hundreds or thousands of years, AND people have normal libido, AND there's no contraception as far as I ever see, how can there not be overpopulation issues? (And, if the reason is that more powerful=living longer=less offspring, then how do the large powerful cultivation families even exist?)

Why haven't all the longer living cultivation families just exterminated all the normal humans, even by accident if nothing else? Considering these are all might makes right settings, and given human nature, normal humans ought be like aboriginal cultures in the modern world.

Or, like, if every resource that's used during cultivation are all these rare herbs and animal parts that are thousands or 10k years old, and given they're used by people who've been at it for hundreds/thousands/10k years... how are these things not extinct?

And then let's not even get to the size of territories (or worlds/cosmologies). Like, what is the point of someone's personal estate is as large as an east coast province? That just means the actual house is just sitting out in the boonies. Especially if they're people with political connections and followers and stuff like that. Population centers / centers of power / etc. don't really mix with hermit style living, yo.

Plus every time your characters "level up" to a "higher plane" or whatever, everything gets bigger including the buildings and the territories. And after a while you realize that their "backyard" is like the size of the USA, and in order to get anywhere else, their mounts need to be going faster than your average jet plane.

And that's not even getting to the settings where your MC can create entire universes in their soul (and then never does anything with it other than mention it as an aside to wow people/readers).

Also, just putting this here: 关羽身高九尺是多高? -- In other words, if the story is fantasy "ancient china", your stereotypical 七尺男儿 can range from anywhere between 5.3-7.2 ft.

Also, also, I hate it when even the author can't decide what color "青" is, and keeps using it differently even within the same story!
