I talked to a friend at Warner recently. Seems there is some concern about some of their upcoming movies....
Troy looks fantastic, but it's stopped dead while they rescore it. Preview audiences liked the movie but HATED the music. Preview audiences don't usually even notice the music, so this was a bad sign. New score is supposed to be a vast improvement. It was written in LA and recorded in London, with all communication between the two handled through internet connections, e-mail, IM, FTP, webcams, etc. As a result, they were able to get it done in record time.
Hope that's a good sign with regards to the characters/plot...
