Wait, what? You sure you linked the right thread? Cuz if you're talking about that French post, all the numbers at the bottom are Ele.

Elémentaliste - bâton - terre - 1200p: 1m40 sec
Elémentaliste - bâton - eau - 1200p: 2m45 sec

The slowest engineer weapon is listed as:

Ingénieur - Pistolet - 900p: 1m

But that's still above 3 of the elements for staff and 2 of the elements for scepter.

Of course, they're only measuring the kill rate on skill 1 and without any gear/traits so I don't think it's really a fair comparison.
