Who has Win7?

I noticed on Friday that my files with chinese filenames are not showing up properly in Win7. I see little boxes where the characters should be.

So I did my Google-fu, installed the Chinese Simplified Language Pack, added all the Chinese options to inetcpl.cpl, and un-hid the MingLiu fonts...

It worked... for like two days. Then I restarted Windows this morning and it's back to boxes. Also, I note that when viewing websites with Chinese titles (like my insanejournal homepage), Chrome & IE also show it with little boxes while Firefox actually shows the Chinese.

Microsoft. Blah.

EDIT: Apparently, the behavior randomly changes after every reboot. Sometimes the Chinese shows up and sometimes it doesn't. Fail. -_-

Weird. I use FF almost exclusively and don't use Chrome or IE, but so far had not had any Chinese rendering problems.
