Grabbed the last sonar biscuit with the remains of yesterday's polka pop. Finished up the remains of yesterday's pool buff at Whitey's.
Then took out the leprechaun, tossed on a sugar shield and the pool buff. Rang the bell at Boss bat and farmed the bodyguard bats. Got up to 19k meat. And level 7.
Switched back to mimic, threw on a polka pop, and went back to Grove. Only got boxes of wine for my pains. Fed chocolate chips to mimic.
Went back to Haunted Pantry to do bounty. Mixed and drank 2 moxie swills, which also pushed me to 30 moxie, allowing me to wear the stainless pants. Hit the semi-rare in the pantry, which netted me 3 tarts, which I ate. Got lucre.
Another polka round of grove. Nada. Did barrels. Got the item drop bonus from pool table instead. Went to Cemetary and grabbed a smart skull. Crafted meat maid. Finished the rest of the buff at Whitey's. Did not get catgut. Did open the Road instead.
Only got 1 herb, but did get full hippy outfit. Decided to forget the rest of Whitey's and shore to open up island for food instead. Cooked some noodles to ensure I had enough turns for 5 shore trips. Opened up island. Bought some herbs. Made some food for tomorrow. Opened up and planted mushroom fields. Bought a cookbook. Finished with a nightcap.
Turns banked: 15 (will need to check on next semi-rare tomorrow)
Meat banked: 9.3k (enough for staff + rigatoni, but will still need 6k for fusilli, 3.2k for cannon)
Tomorrow: Moar farming needed. Still need to get catgut and cherry. Might consider sewer fishing to get clovers for fruits basket.
EDIT: Analysis of cost-benefits of pasta dishes without a chef-in-the-box...
3 Fullness:
tomato - 1 turn cooking/4-11 (7.5 avg) returned = 6.5 net returns
herbs/tofu - 1 turn cooking/4-12 (8 avg) returned = 7 net (2.3 t/f)
spices - 1 turn cooking/6-12 (9 avg) returned = 8 net (2.6 t/f)
spices + herbs - 2 turns cooking/8-14 (11 avg) = 9 net
4 Fullness:
pr0n - 1 turns cooking/8-13 (10.5) returned = 10.5 net (2.6 t/f)
knob lo mein - 3 turns cooking/14-20 (17) returned = 14 net (3.5 t/f)
knoll/spooky - 3 turns cooking/14-21 (17.5) return = 14.5 net (3.6 t/f)
(non-pasta) stir-fry (3 fullness)
rat appending - 3 turns cooking / 7-14 (10.5) returned = 7.5 net (2.5 t/f)
batwing/knob sausage - 3 turns cooking / 6-14 (10) = 7 net (2.3 t/f)
Thus... best use of spices is still to save them for the lo mein...
