Hello! I know this is pretty weird but you are my only lead, I am looking for the Chaos MUD, but it seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth. I realize your last post dealing with it was in the end of July 07, but I was wondering if you had its new address or if you know if it was taken down? Any info you are able to provide will be much appreciated!

In case you didn't know, chaosmud.genesismuds.com 1357 doesn't work. And also, it seems we share the same type of games because, I too enjoy my few hours of Guild Wars :).

I realize this is for Tani, but since she's horrible at answering comments...

ChaosMUD is dead as far as I know. It's no longer working and most likely taken down since the mods were losing interest and they weren't getting many people playing at a time.

Yeah, Chaos has been dead. There's no forwarding address as far as I know.

I don't believe so, I wasn't "famous" or anything, my highest character ever was a 280 minotaur samurai named Rikis, who was deleted the last time I went to the MUD while it was still up.

I only found out about you through extensive googling searches.

Waah. Sniff. After extensive searching, all I could find was this?! Man, this really stinks. Chaosmud was the best/most fun for a long time. Hawkwings Mushrooms! Getting hit by Kaya's star/comet. Begging Budoki and Adriana to help retrive my corpse! starting adventures with morphy! Giggling at newbies like nobi...who later becomes an imm....ah the memories. Thanks at least for having some mention somewhere that the mud was dead. It truly was one of the most colorful text based muds ever.

I know it's been a good 8-9 months since the last post on this thread, BUT, while trying to find the old Inferno speedwalk page, I found this

We found a new implementor, and a code from around 3 years ago, only been back up a week but we're doing quite well considering being open for such a short time. :)

Also, you can connect through the website, chaosmud.com, and clicking the connect tab.
