Grand Canyon Day 1
Jul. 11th, 2024 09:29 pmGot up early for the ~5 hr drive from Vegas to Grand Canyon with a tour group. Caught some sleep on the way.
We got there around lunchtime, and ate at an IMAX place. The show itself was also nice. My uncle's family also purchased a helicopter tour nearby. I waited with the others who didn't purchase the flight at the IMAX. Bought a Grand Canyon T-shirt to remember the trip by.
We then drove to a scenic stop at south Grand Canyon, then east, then circled north to Page where our overnight hotel is. Ate at a (Americanized) Chinese buffet nearby for dinner.
