More Bloodsucking Academics
Aug. 9th, 2004 09:38 pmWent back to Cal today, not for admin stuff, but to get first crack on the used textbooks before they run out.
As it turns out, a lot of it is cheaper via Amazon.com, even plus shipping & handling. I got most of the expensive tech texts... came up to like $250+ for 5 books.
Still got the 5 books for Philos25A on my list. I think I might drop by the local Half Price Books store for those first. Also, I wanna know if![[insanejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/ij-userinfo.gif)
cashew wants to share those books so we don't have to buy two sets. Some of them are books we have already, like Plato's Republic and Antigone, but I dunno if we really need to use whatever version/translation is listed...
As an aside, I haven't been around on GJ the last week, have I? Ah well... maybe I'll start getting back into the groove of things when school is starting again.
