T'Meril was born in the late-24th century on Eirhess III.
As a child, she grew up among a mix of mostly humans and Romulan refugees fleeing the destruction of Romulus. She also experienced the transition of the colony from a minor agricultural hub to a major political hotspot, and the growing threat from desperate Reman raids and vengeful strikes from the Romulan Imperial remnants. It was this which inspired her to apply to Starfleet Academy instead of a traditional Scientific University such as the VSA when she neared adulthood.
Part of the graduating class of 2399, Ensign T'Meril was assigned to the Centaur class USS Eureka when it was first ambushed and the senior crew killed during the opening battles of the Klingon War. She was then forced to take command and render immediate assistance to the Vega colony under Borg attack. T'Meril completed both missions above and beyond expectations, earning her a field promotion to full Lt. (Tutorial)
After getting the Eureka back to Spacedock for repairs, Lt. T'Meril was then assigned to a Vesper class cruiser. She served as ops officer on that vessel for about two years, mostly in the short war with the Klingons. Her excellent performance over this time - including more than one temporal missions - allowed her to be promoted to Lt. Cmdr. during that time. (Klingon War Arc)
In 2403, Lt. Cmdr. T'Meril was sent to Nimbus III as part of a ground mission to investigate the rumors of Tal Shiar activity there. She was dropped off on the planet by a Dakota class vessel. (Wasteland Arc)
In 2405, Cmdr. T'Meril, ops & later 1st officer of the USS Phlox investigated the Tal Shiar activities and made contact with the Reman Resistance in the Alpha Centauri sector. (Romulan Mystery Arc). In 2406, the ship is assigned to the newly established capital of the Romulan Republic, New Romulus.
In 2407, T'Meril was promoted to captain and given her first ship, the Ambassador class USS Fibonacci.
In 2408, the Fibonacci was assigned to the Cardassian border (Cardassian Struggle Arc up to “The Other Side”), and then handled the emergency in the nearby Deferi sector (Breen Invasion Arc).
In 2409, the Fibonacci was severely damaged in the battle at DS9 with the temporally displaced Dominion forces.
In 2410, Captain T'Meril assumes command of the Sovereign class ship. She undertook missions into Borg Space with Task Force Omega (Borg Advance Arc), and was also involved in the discovery of the Iconian gate to the Delta Quadrant (Solanae Arc).
