I couldn't help myself
I started a second dress up game: Dress Up! Time Princess
It's got a better plot than Love Nikki. Well I mean, its storytelling is based off of otome games, so naturally it's better than Love Nikki's...convoluted mess of grasped straws.
But more importantly, it's 3D! (Yes, Shining Nikki is also 3D but that game isn't available to the US.) Ain't she pretty?
(You just don't get the full effect of the movement graphics with a photo, alas.)

Why does it look like Elsa and Anna from from Disney's Frozen? :p
Part of me is a little sad that traditional 2D animation is getting squeezed out by 3D, since there are some really artistic uses of perspective in 2D animation that just doesn't translate the same into 3D graphics. But that's more in the movie and less in the game industry. Although I do find game industry's pursuit of higher and higher graphic fidelity flattens the aesthetics somewhat.
