There are sometimes related events that only unlock after the mission is finished. Like, for instance, in patch 2.6, March's sword training event didn't unlock until after the story patch is finished. And also, I do want to find out more about the on-going plot behind Amphoreus (so I can judge it :p), so my playing will be paced out, but not too slow.
