Emanators are like the Champions of their Aeon (with a capital C). Basically they've got the direct backing/blessing/attention of the Aeon in question.
Some are obviously people, like Herta (Emanator of Erudition), Acheron (Emanator of Nihility), Diamond (Emanator of Preservation and upper management of the IPC), the Lord Ravagers (Emanators of Destruction)... Some are not, like the Emanators of Harmony.
