After meddling around a lot with the graphics settings, I think bluestacks runs really well. Definitely looks no worse than GW2 or STO, for example.
As to whether it's better to play on PC or mobile... think it really depends on the game.
Simpler stuff like Zen Koi 2 and stuff play better on the tablet/phone because it's something to do in between other stuff, and portability of phones and tablets are a plus there.
Stuff like MMOs play better on the PC. Partly because the installations are so large that downloading the full 8 GB of the game would be nightmare to do over wireless, whereas bluestacks can do it all quickly over broadband. Partly because that even simplified, there's still a whole lotta keys on the screen to deal with, and pressing the right button is harder the smaller the screen is.
